Meet Your Trainer: Thompson Grant
Hey everyone! I’m Thompson, the owner and principal trainer at Nashville Mobile Fitness. I’m a Nashville native and Ensworth High School alum currently residing in Bellevue. Over the past few years, I have worked with over 150 clients, including multiple celebrities and high-profile clients.
I’m certified by the top personal training company in the US, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). As a trainer, I take a holistic approach that focuses on strength training, weight loss, healthy sleep patterns, and nutrition. I’m a lifestyle trainer who not only wants to help you achieve your short-term goals, but who also wants to set you up for long-term success with your health and longevity.
Additionally, I also have a background in physical therapy. I worked as a physical therapy technician for 2 years at STAR Physical Therapy and I took Doctorate coursework as a student in Belmont University’s DPT program. My physical therapy experience has shaped how I approach workouts with my clients - stressing the importance of form, loading the muscle not the joint, and teaching clients that pushing through pain hurts you more than it helps you.

Benefits of In-Home Training
Time Saving
1
No gym commutes, no traffic, no waiting for equipment. Your time is valuable, and in-home personal training allows you to make the most of your workout.
Better Results
2
No wandering the gym, no scrolling on your phone, no guessing – just focused and effective training that aligns with your personal goals.
3
Privacy
At home, you don’t have to worry about being watched, comparing yourself to others, or not knowing how to use gym equipment. This can make workouts feel less stressful and more enjoyable, especially if you’re just starting out.
Proper Form & Safety
4
In fitness, form is everything. Even if you’re familiar with specific exercises to strengthen a muscle group, doing those exercises incorrectly can lead to injuries. A trainer watches how you move and corrects your form in real time. This helps you get better results, avoid injuries, and build good habits.
Flexibility & Convenience
5
In-home personal training works with your schedule and your lifestyle. Have young kids at home that make it hard to leave the house? Do you work from home and have limited time between virtual meetings? No problem! Book your workout at a time that best suits your busy schedule!
Motivation & Accountability
6
Knowing someone is coming to your house makes it much harder to skip workouts. A trainer helps keep you consistent, pushes you when you’d normally stop early, and celebrates progress with you along the way. It’s easy to get discouraged when results don’t come on the timeline you’d like or when setbacks occur. A good personal trainer not only helps push you physically, but also helps you with the mental and emotional challenges that come with pushing your body to new limits.
Education & Confidence
7
A good trainer teaches you why you’re doing certain exercises and how to do them on your own. Over time, you build confidence and knowledge that can carry over to independent workouts later.
